Learning Management Systems are a tool for providing information to learners in a convenient format.  They are ideal for organisations that provide information to staff, members, students or suppliers.

Learning Management Systems can also facilitate on-line learning by providing testing to ensure an understanding of the information by learners.  Learners can have access to multiple choice questions, matching answers to responses and short answer questions just to name a few.

Government departments including TAFE are using Learning Management Systems as a tool to provide information to their staff, students and members.  Over the next several years, the world will continue to see more Learning Management Systems available to users as a replacement or inconjunction with traditional learning tools and methodologies.
